Impossible is possible
Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. He divided his forces against them by night, and he and his servants attacked them and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus. So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people. (Genesis 14:14-16)
Last summer, we were in the embassy of a particular Middle Eastern country in Paris, trying to apply for a visa while spending a few days in Paris. I was told that it was IMPOSSIBLE to get a visa to visit the country by a French lady who was there to pick up her visa. Because there was a long list of conditions: travel insurance, an authorization code, a letter of invitation, accommodation, contact, 2 passport photos. We had only photos, and only 1 each! In my discouragement, suddenly the Lord asked me “Why do you want to go there? I want you to go, with my love.” I started blessing the Embassy people and the country. Miraculously our applications were accepted! We were asked to fax travel insurance details after we got home from Paris, and he actually photocopied the passport photos for us! The next morning the 3 of us picked up our passports, with entry visas, and went back to the UK. Impossible is possible, if we start with God.
1. Impossible is possible if we start
Abram started an impossible journey to pursue the four powerful kings who defeated many kings including Sodom and Gomorrah. Abram pursued them with his 318 servants and his allies. In the end, Abram defeated the four kings and took back all the people and possessions including Lot his nephew. Abram suddenly became a hero in the land. Although Abram was an alien, a Hebrew, his impressive victory would have inspired people to follow him. He could have begun to form a great nation in Canaan, as God had promised (Genesis 12:2).
2. Confirmation or confusion?
Now he had the LAND and PEOPLE that God had promised, since he had conquered the former overall ruler of the land. It looked like God's timing to inaugurate the promised great nation. Even Melchizedek king of Salem, the priest of God Most High, came to bless him with bread and wine, which seems to be confirming the timing and the location, when he came back from the victorious battle. Is it confirming God's promise or confusing him?
3. The Kingdom of God is NOT established by taking position or possessions from man
He didn't take that opportunity of being king because it wasn't the right time, nor the right way. He knew he wasn't ready to be a king. If Abram formed a great nation with these wicked and evil Sodomites and Gomorrahns, the foundation of his kingdom would be evil and later be destroyed by God. Similarly when people wanted to make Jesus king after they were fed with bread, he drew himself away from people, because it wasn't the right time, nor the right way in God's plan and purposes (John 6:15). The Kingdom of God is not established by taking position or possessions of man but by losing them, even one's own life. But how many of us want to exploit this kind of opportunity because of his promises, as if it is from the Lord?
4. Love makes the impossible journey possible
If Abram's aim was only victory or possession or to be king, he might not have gone till Hobah, but his purpose was to rescue Lot whom he loved. So he started this journey for love and went to the end to find Lot, who probably was in Hobah(חבה = hiding place). Our journey of faith is not restoring the land nor the ministry itself, but the love of God. Love made the impossible journey possible. Therefore impossible is always possible where love is at work. Love is stronger than hatred. Love never fails; love always wins.
[ The Forge School of Faith - III & journey to the Middle East ]
We 23 people gathered together in the Forge III for two weeks in Wales and 9 of us went to the Middle East for another two weeks. We had three Jewish people from Israel, USA, and Korea. I believe that it's a prophetic sign for the future of this journey of faith.(Testimony video click)
God told us through the story of the battle against the city of Ai in the Book of Joshua, “Enter the heart of the country (in the Middle East) with my love!” So we went with his love but we have been bombarded with their love.
We journeyed for 4 days in one country and 9 days in a different country. A number of people were concerned about our safety in that country. There are two different pictures; politically the country is rather hostile, but the people are very friendly and warm. There are still some very difficult and complicated issues in political realms and spiritual realms. But we have experienced the mystery of God and the love of God have been revealed and released. 
We met Jewish people and visited synagogues, also we saw some Jewish people walking in the street with Kippur (Jewish hat) in the Middle East Islamic country. They told us that they have freedom and protection from Islamic government, whereas some Jewish people are living under the fear. They are still meeting at the synagogues on the Sabbath in the country; even though it is called the most hostile country towards Israel.
God has brought us to two local families and we have been bombarded by their love, which is beyond their religious obligation of hospitality. We are still in communication, not on the base of religion but on relationship in love. The love of God is invincible and unfailing. We travelled from overland around the country and from country and country by bus during the nights. It wasn't comfortable at all, but God has made us to be strong in his love.
[ Spiritual Excavation: Esther, Mordecai, Daniel, Nehemiah, Darius, etc. ]
We went to see Esther and Mordecai's tomb. A Jewish Rabbi has been keeping the place and prayer and purpose of God. Also we have been to Susa where Esther, Mordecai and Nehemiah lived. We were told there are 26,000 - 40,000 Jewish people are living in the country. They have synagogues and keep Sabbath and other Jewish traditions. On a Sabbath day we went to two synagogues they are meeting and reading Torah, etc..
We prayed that God would raise modern Esthers, Mordecais, Daniels, his three friends, and Nehemiahs, etc. not only among the Jews but also among the country people. We are praying and planning to go to the Middle East next spring time.

7 Korean young people and a teacher are coming in the middle of December to Wales for two months. We will probably travel different places too. While we were in the Forge School last month, an unexpected person promised and we now received £5,000 for this journey. This is a great encouragement for all of us. Thank you so much!

November 2013
I also got some practice doing and having a relationship with God in difficult kinds of situations. Because we had travelled through the night by bus, we hadn’t even washed for 4 days. Time and inconvenient circumstances for meditation that I faced were very different from my routine. I couldn’t focus on the meditation or listening to his voice because I felt my body condition and feeling were stretched to the limit that I can bear. At that moment I really didn’t want to keep going on this journey. In order to sustain my meditation times under very busy or difficult conditions, I need inspiration to find God's ways. One very pleasant thing to me was to find his markers of love in a Muslim country. The most impressive thing to me was that God has already been there and he is there now and he will be in that land forever regardless of persecution or threatening from men. There was a picture of Jesus in the church which is a historical place, even though people took the cross off from the roof of the church. And the shape of cross was on the stone in the national museum in the capital of E-country. Also we bought the King James Version of The English bible in the public book-store in the capital city. Even I found that they were selling the tiles printed with the Last Supper with Jesus and his disciples in the duty free shop at the airport.

During this journey, I had many chances to look deep inside myself how stupid and how poor I am. Things which were covered and hidden in my life and I hadn’t recognized were also revealed nakedly more and more. God brought those things to the surface and treated in his ways because he loves me and helps to correct and to set me free from suffering inside. Also I struggled with my feelings. Whenever I feel very tired or I was not hearing God’s voice, I doubt his presence with me and everlasting caring love. So many times I asked him to give me the evidence that I’m his beloved one. He showed it through people we met in T & E countries. They poured out unreasonable and unconditional love to us. I don’t deserve to receive that kind of love, the love of the cross. I didn't need any other sign, what I have to do was just say this. “Jesus I love you, Thank you for your gracious love“.

15th - 28th March 2014 (Wales) / £200 God has called us to redeem the inheritance of Rees Howells the intercessor. We started this journey January 2009 and the 1st School of Faith was December 2012 for 2 weeks, the 2nd School of Faith was April and May 2013 for 4 weeks, and the 3rd School of Faith was November 2013. God has envisioned, encouraged, challenged, healed and united us as the family of God. We foretasted a little of his full picture of a movement with a lifestyle of community, worship, intercession and mission; an exciting opportunity! Later on I called my younger son Yohan to come to the Blue Room with me because his conception and birth are deeply related to our journey of faith. I took a couple of photos of him in the room and I saw a card on the top of fire place. As soon as I looked at it, God spoke to me loudly and firmly. “Place All on the Altar!” On that card there were a few Bible scriptures and this hand writing. Only this sentence jumped out to me and convicted me. Later on I found that a lady sent this card last November from Penllergaer area. Isn't it interesting? One day I heard “Go back to the Beginning!” and the next day “Place All on the Altar!” In January 2009, our family started going to the BCW sites every Sunday according to God's conviction, that he wanted us to redeem and restore the SPIRITUAL INHERITANCE of Rees Howells. Then the BCW sites were closed down and the college moved to England in July 2009. From that point I felt that God wanted us to redeem and restore the PHYSICAL PROPERTIES too, as part of the inheritance. Thankfully one of these has now been purchased and is being restored by Cornerstone Community Church, Singapore. So “Go back to the beginning” might mean that this journey is to redeem and restore the spiritual inheritance of Rees Howells only. Although I still don't know a lot of things, what I know is that I have to place all on the altar and I have placed BCW sites on the altar. Of course it was so hard for me but obedience is better than sacrifice. It looks like my 4 years and 4 months intercessory journey with BCW sites has come to an end, although we are still pursuing Rees Howells spiritual inheritance and the picking up the baton of equipping Jews and Gentiles for the last harvest fields. But we are pursuing in redeeming his spiritual inheritance through the Forge vision. |

(Impossible is possible)

아브람이 자기 형제가 사로잡혀 갔음을 듣고 자기 집에서 태어난 훈련받은 종 318명을 무장시켜 그들을 추격하여 단까지 가서 그와 그의 종들을 나누어 밤에 그들을 치고 다마스커스 왼편에 있는 호바까지 추격하여 모든 재물을 다시 찾아오고 자기 형제 롯과 그의 재물과 여자들과 백성들도 다시 찾아왔더라. (창세기 13:14-16)
지난 여름 파리를 잠깐 방문했을 때 중동의 한 국가 방문을 위해 비자를 신청하러 그 나라 대사관을 찾아 갔다. 대사관에서 기다리던 중 비자를 찾기 위해 온 한 프랑스 여자분을 통해 우리가 비자를 받는 것은 불가능하다(IMPOSSIBLE)는 얘기를 들었다. 왜냐하면 첨부되어야 하는 초청장, 케이블 코드, 여행자 보험, 숙소, 연락처, 2장의 사진 등 우리가 갖춘 것은 아무 것도 없었기 때문이다. 우리에게는 여권과 한 장의 사진만 있었다. 이렇게 절망하고 있을 때 주님께서 물었다. “너는 왜 그 나라에 가고자 하니? 나는 너희가 내 사랑을 갖고 가기 원한다.” 나는 즉시로 대사관 직원들과 그 나라를 축복하기 시작했다. 그리고 모든 첨부 서류가 없었음에도 불구하고 기적적으로 우리의 신청서가 접수 되었다. 사진 한 장은 직원이 칼라 복사기로 복사해서 붙여 주었고 여행자 보험은 영국에 돌아온 뒤 팩스로 보냈다. 다음 날 아침 우리 세 사람은 여권을 찾아서 영국으로 돌아왔다. 하나님과 함께 시작하면 불가능은 가능한 것이다.
1. 만약 우리가 하나님과 함께 시작하면 불가능은 가능하다
소돔과 고모라를 비롯해 수 많은 왕들을 물리친 네 명의 왕들을 추격하는 불가능한 여정을 아브람은 시작했다. 아브람은 318명의 자기 종들과 세 명의 연합한 씨족장들과 함께 승리한 네 왕들을 추격한다. 결국 아브람은 조카 롯과 함께 빼앗긴 모든 소유와 사람들을 도로 찾는다. 이 전쟁으로 아브람은 가나안에서 갑자기 영웅으로 변한다. 비록 아브람이 이방인이었지만 이 놀라운 전쟁의 승리로 말미암아 사람들은 그를 따를 준비가 되었다. 만약 그가 마음만 먹었다면 하나님께서 약속하신 위대한 나라를 가나안 땅에서 바로 만들 수도 있었을 것이다. (창세기 12:2)
2. 확증인가 혼돈인가? Confirmation or confusion?
이제 아브람은 지금까지 속국을 삼고 가나안을 다스리던 그돌라오멜 왕을 물리침으로 하나님께서 약속하신 그 땅과 사람을 얻게 되었다. 겉으로 보면 지금이 하나님께서 약속하신 그 위대한 나라를 시작할 때 인 것처럼 보인다. 심지어 아브람이 전쟁에서 이기고 예루살렘에 이르렀을 때 살렘 왕이면서 하나님의 제사장인 멜기세덱이 떡과 포도주를 가지고 나와서 아브람을 축복한다. 이것은 시간적으로나 지리적으로, 그리고 영적으로 볼 때 아브람이 하나님께서 약속하신 나라를 시작할 확증으로 볼 수 있다. 하지만 이것이 오히려 혼돈을 주는 것은 아닐까?
3. 하나님 나라는 사람의 자리나 소유에 의해 세워지지 않는다
아브람은 자신이 왕이 될 수 있는 이 기회를 취하지 않고 떠나 보낸다. 왜냐하면 그것은 하나님의 시간도 아니었고 하나님의 방법도 아니었기 때문이다. 그는 자신이 왕이 되거나 왕국을 시작할 준비가 되지 않았음을 알았다. 만약 그때 아브람이 사악하고 패역한 소돔, 고모라 사람들과 함께 왕국을 시작했다면 그 나라의 기초 자체가 사악한데 세워졌을 것이고 결국 하나님으로부터 멸망 당하고 말았을 것이다.
예수님으로부터 빵을 얻어 먹은 사람들이 예수님을 왕으로 세우려고 했을 때 예수님은 사람들로부터 피하여 숨으셨다. 왜냐하면 그것은 하나님의 목적 속에서의 그 시간도 아니었고 그 방법도 아니었기 때문이다. (요한복음 6:15) 하 나님 나라는 사람들이 자리를 얻고 소유를 얻는 것으로 세워지지 않고 오히려 그것을 잃고 자신의 목숨까지 버리는 데서 시작된다. 하지만 우리는 하나님이 주신 약속 때문에 얼마나 자주 이러한 자리나 소유를 사용해서 그것을 이루려고 하지는 않는가?
4. 사랑이 이긴다
만약 아브람이 전쟁의 승리나 빼앗긴 소유를 찾는 것, 또는 왕이 되는 것이 목적이었다면 호바(Hobah,חבה = hiding place)까지 갈 필요가 없었다. 하지만 그의 목적은 그가 사랑하는 조카 롯을 구하는 것이었기에 단(Dan)에서 멈추지 않고 롯이 있었던 호바까지 갔다. (아마도 호바에 롯이 잡혀 있었을 것이다.) 우리의 여정은 땅의 회복이나 사역의 회복에 있지 않고 사랑의 회복에 있다. 사랑이 불가능 해 보이는 아브람의 여정을 가능케 했다. 그러므로 사랑이 역사하는 곳에는 불가능이 언제나 가능하다.
[ 더포지 대장간 믿음학교 III 와 중동 여정 ]
23명의 사람들이 2 주간 웨일즈에서 믿음학교 여정을 마치고 그 중 9명의 사람들이 중동으로 2주간 의 여정을 떠났다. 이번 믿음학교에는 3 명의 유대인이 이스라엘과 미국, 그리고 한국에서 참석했는데, 우리 대장간 믿음의 여정에 대한 하나님의 예언적인 징표처럼 다가 왔다. (몇 분의 간증 영상을 보시려면 여기를 클릭)
하나님은 중동 여정을 앞두고 있는 우리에게 여호수아에 나오는 아이 성에 대한 사건을 보여 주시면서, “나의 사랑을 갖고 그 (중동의) 나라에 들어가라!”고 하셨다. 그래서 우리는 아버지의 사랑을 갖고 그 나라를 갔다. 그런데 오히려 우리가 그 땅에서 사랑으로 폭격을 당하고 말았다.
우리는 4일간 중동의 한 나라에서 보내고 또 9일간을 다른 중동의 나라에서 여정을 보냈다. 우리가 이 여정을 떠나기 전에 몇몇 사람이 그 나라에 가는 것에 대해서 상당한 우려를 표시했었다. 그런데 그 나라는 정치적으로는 호전적 인상을 풍기지만 개인적으로 만난 사람들은 따뜻하고 친근했다. 물론 정치적, 영적으로는 아직도 복잡하고 어려운 문제가 있는 것이 사실이다. 하지만 우리는 하나님의 신비와 사랑이 그곳에 풀어지고 나타나는 것을 경험했다.
우리는 중동의 한 이슬람 국가에서 유대인들을 만났고 그들의 회당을 방문했으며 유대인들이 키퍼(머리에 쓰는 모자 같은 것)를 쓰고 거리에 다니는 것을 보았다. 우리가 만난 한 유대인은 두려움에 잡혀 살고 있었다. 하지만 우리가 만나 또 다른 유대인들은 자유를 누리고 있고 이슬람 정부에서 유대인들을 보호해 주고 있다고 말했다. 이들은 중동에서 가장 호전적인 이슬람 국가에 살고 있지만 지금도 안식일 날 회당에 모여 토라(모세오경)를 읽고 있는 것을 직접 보았다.
하나님은 그 중동의 나라에서 우리에게 두 가정을 만나게 하셨고 우리는 그들의 사랑에 폭탄을 맞고 말았다. 그것 은 그들의 종교적인 의무감에서 오는 손님 접대를 훨씬 넘는 것이었다. 우리는 종교적인 것 때문이 아니라 순수한 사랑 때문에 그들과 계속 대화를 하고 있다. 하나님의 사랑은 막을 수 있는 것이 없고 결코 실패하지 않는다. The love of God is invincible and unfailing. 우리는 주로 야간 버스로 나라 안과 나라와 나라 사이를 이동했다. 이것은 편안한 여정이 아니었지만 하나님은 우리를 사랑 안에서 강하게 했다. 우리는 내년 봄에 그 나라를 다시 방문할 예정이다.

우리는 에스더와 모르드개의 무덤을 방문했다. 한 유대인 랍비가 그 장소를 지키면서 기도하고 하나님의 목적을 위해 살고 있었다. 그리고 우리는 에스더와 모르드개, 그리고 느헤미야가 살았던 수산궁이 있는 곳을 방문했다. 지금 그 나라에는 26,000 – 40,000 명의 유대인이 살고 있다고 했다. 우리는 하나님께서 지금 이 시대의 에스더, 모르드개, 다니엘, 그의 세 친구들, 그리고 느헤미야를 단지 유대인들 가운데서 뿐 아니라 그 나라 사람들 가운데서 일으키도록 기도했다.
[ 대안학교 학생들과 함께 하는 대장간 여정 ]
7명의 한국인 청소년들과 한 명의 선생님이 두 달간 일정으로 웨일즈에 온다. 그들은 대장간 여정을 통해서 주님을 알고 누리는 삶을 함께 할 것이다. 그리고 아마 몇몇 다른 곳도 방문할 예정이다. 지난 대장간 믿음학교 기간 중에 이 청소년들과의 여정을 위해서 전혀 기대하지 않았던 곳에서 £5,000의 헌금을 약속 받았고 얼마 전에 그것을 보내 주셨다. 하나님께서 이것을 통해 많은 격려를 해 주셔서 정말 감사하다.

2013. 11. 21 [ 승애의 중동 여정 ]
LOVE WINS! E국에서는 다니엘, 모르드개, 에스더의 흔적이 남아있는 지역들을 방문하며 주님을 향하여 뜻을 정하고 기도하며 민족, 국가, 역사를 초월하여 하나님 나라의 뜻이 이 땅에 침노하도록 통로가 되었던 믿음의 조상들의 유업을 마주하고 이 땅에 그러한 믿음의 사람들이 일어나도록 중보하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 모슬렘 국가 안에서 두려움 가운데 아브라함의 하나님, 이삭의 하나님, 야곱의 하나님을 섬기는 또 다른 에스더를 만나며 제 안의 예수 그리스도의 심장이 깊은 긍휼과 사랑으로 반응하는 것을 느꼈습니다. 또한 만나는 현지인 친구들 마다 진심으로 우리 팀을 초대하고 재워주고 먹여주는 호의를 베풀어주며 진심 어린 우정과 사랑을 주고 받을 수 있었습니다. 저에게는 그들의 크고 깊은 눈동자 안에 반짝이는 영혼이 보였고 그들을 향한 주님의 사랑이 부어져 각 사람의 깊은 영혼을 바라볼 때 제 마음에도 눈물이 맺혔습니다. 검은 희잡 아래 아름다운 진주를 숨겨놓은 것 같이 어두운 정권아래 그들의 진리로 인한 자유와 사랑을 갈망하는 심장이 박동하고 있는 것을 느낄 수 있었습니다. 중동 지역에 특히 E국에는 왠지 선입견이 있던 저의 좁은 마음에 주님의 사랑이 부어져 모든 변명과 두려움을 몰아내고 저와 우리 팀과 만나는 모든 현지 친구들을 그 사랑으로 덮으시며 승리하셨습니다! 나의 사랑으로 영국 땅을 밟아라! 그런데 영국으로 돌아오는 길에 예기치 않게 이민국에서 9시간 반을 잡혀있게 되었었습니다. 좁은 방에 갇혀있는 동안 늘 개발도상국의 불쌍한 사람들에게만 관심을 가졌던 저이기에 영국은 제가 쉬고 회복 받는 곳이라 여기던 제게 주님이 말씀하셨습니다. ‘영국 또한 나의 나라의 권세를 가지고 사랑을 흘려 보내야 할 땅이므로 장기로 오는 것을 이상히 여기지 말아라.’ 며 장기적으로 부르셨습니다. 웨일즈에 처음 도착해서 네이션스 선교단체와 함께 예배를 드리는데 산산조각 난 저의 빨간 심장 안에 이 세상의 조각난 열방들이 와서 맞추어지는 그림을 보았던걸 그려놓았었습니다. 실제 지치고 깨진 제 마음이 어느새 그리스도의 뜨거운 심장으로 회복되어 있음을 봅니다. 주님이 이미 십자가에서 이루신 사랑이 나와 열방의 모든 사람들을 향한 주님의 전략이며 이미 그 전쟁에서 승리하신 것을 찬양합니다! 2014년 3월 15일 - 28일 (웨일즈) / £200 2012년 6월, 리즈 하월즈가 남긴 믿음의 유산을 회복할 목적으로 하나님께서는 대장간 믿음학교를 시작할 것에 대한 마음을 주셨고 12월 1일부터 15일까지 2주간의 제 1기 대장간 믿음학교, 그리고 올해 4월과 5월에 걸쳐 4 주간의 제 2기 대장간 믿음학교, 그리고 10월과 11월에 결쳐 3기 대장간 믿음학교를 했습니다. 하나님은 각 사람에게 비전을 주시고 격려와 도전, 치유를 행하셨을 뿐 아니라 하나님의 가족으로서의 연합함을 주셨습니다. 그리고 하나님의 궁극적인 그림을 향한 삶의 예배와 중보, 선교의 맛을 보여 주셨습니다. [ 끝나지 않은 리즈 하월즈의 믿음의 경주 / Unfinished Race with Rees Howlls ] 그 때 제 마음에 그것이 바로 리즈 하월즈가 남긴 유업 가운데 우리가 다시 바톤을 집어들고 나가야 하는 것임을 느꼈습니다. 이 대장간에 오는 유대인들은 어쩌면 이스라엘 땅이 아니라 미국과 유럽에 흩어져 있는 이들이 될 것입니다. 이것은 매우 흥미로운 것이었습니다. 왜냐하면 저희는 그날 그곳을 가려고 전혀 계획을 잡지 않았을 뿐 아니라, 그 자리가 바로 리즈 하월즈가 유대인들을 위해서 그 계획을 세웠던 곳이기 때문입니다.

나 중에 저는 작은 아들 요한이를 블루룸(Blue Room)으로 불렀습니다. 왜냐하면 요한이의 임신과 출생, 그리고 저희 믿음의 여정이 깊이 관련되어 있기 때문이었습니다. 저는 그 방에서 몇 장의 사진을 찍다가 벽난로 위에서 한 장의 카드를 발견했습니다. 제가 그 카드를 열자마자 큰 소리로 명확하게 하나님께서 제게 말씀하셨습니다. 그 카드 안에는 여러 줄의 문장과 성경구절이 적혀 있었지만 이 구절이 튀어 나오며 저에게 소리쳤습니다. “모든 것을 제단 위에 올려 놓으라!” 나 중에 알게 된 사실이지만 그 카드는 작년 11월에 펜흘레르가에르 지역에 살고 있는 한 여성분이 보내셨다고 합니다. 흥미롭지 않습니까? 한 날 “처음으로 돌아가라!”는 말씀을 들었고 그 다음날 “모든 것을 제단 위에 올려 놓으라!”는 말씀을 들었습니다. 2009년 1월, 저희 가족은 리즈 하월즈의 영적 유업(SPIRITUAL INHERITANCE)을 구속(redeem)하고 회복(restore)하라는 하나님의 말씀을 따라 매 일요일 마다 웨일즈 성경학교로 가서 그 땅에 섰습니다. 그리고 2009년 7월, 웨일즈에 있던 성경학교는 문을 닫게 되고 학교는 이름을 바꾸어 잉글랜드로 옮겼습니다. 그 시점부터 눈에 보이는 성경학교 부지와 건물도 그 유업으로(PHYSICAL INHERITANCE) 구속하고 회복하라는 마음을 받았습니다. 감사하게도 이 유업 가운데 한 쪽 부지인 데르윈 바르를 싱가포르에 있는 코너스톤 교회에서 매각을 했고 지금 건물들을 수리하는 중에 있습니다. 그러므로 하나님께서 “처음으로 돌아가라!”고 하신 그 말씀은 영적 유업의 구속과 회복에서 시작된 그때로 돌아가라는 뜻일 수 있을 것입니다. 아직도 많은 것을 모르지만 제가 아는 한 가지는 하나님께서 웨일즈 성경학교 부지에 대한 것을 제단 위에 올려놓기 원하신다는 것이었습니다. 물론 이러한 결정에 이르기까지 많은 갈등과 고통이 있었지만 순종이 제사보다 낫다는 것을 압니다. 비록 중보와 믿음에 대한 리즈 하월즈의 영적유업을 회복하고 마지막 때 유대인과 이방인이 하나가 되어 추수의 들판으로 나가도록 돕는 이 믿음의 여정은 계속하겠지만, 지난 4년 4개월 간의 웨일즈 성경학교 부지에 대한 저의 중보의 과정은 끝에 이른 것 같습니다. 하지만 그의 영적 유업을 계승하는 것은 대장간 비전을 통해 계속되고 있습니다. |
