 Water found Noah
(Qday & Bridget_Newsletter_August_2011)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

Most people build boats by the waters because we need waters to launch the boats. So people search for the waters before building boats. Yet Noah didn’t build the ark by the waters but on a mountain side according to what God had spoken to him. The waters came to find Noah when he finished what God had commanded. These waters were hidden under the ground and above the sky. God doesn’t want us to build his kingdom’s work by the waters where we can fit into the situation and conditions but he wants us to build his work on the impossible mountains, so that faith may bring to the work of God the hidden resources.

1. Bridget is Pregnant: God surely heard our prayers
Having a baby is not a big issue to many people but for those who long to have baby, it is a great pain and suffering. We didn’t know that because we had our first child without any difficulty although we got married quite late. I was 42 years old and my wife was 38 years old. Now we have a little understanding of the pain and tearful suffering from not being able to have a baby. So we have been praying for those who are wanting and waiting for babies. One day God led us into the journey of faith with this matter.
We had tried to have a baby after Noah was born. Although I had a prophetic word about having 3 children, it looked as if we were too old and weak to have another baby. Therefore Bridget wanted to adopt a baby because she thought we would not be able to conceive physically.
One day she wanted to have a look at the barren women in the Bible. While she was studying, she was struck by Samuel’s mother, Hannah’s story. Bridget used to think that Hannah was waiting for a baby for years but she realised that God was waiting for Hannah for years to give her a son. In other words, God was waiting for Hannah’s right prayer; “If you give me a son, I will give him back to you.”

The baby wasn’t just an ordinary baby, but for fulfilling God’s eternal purpose. God was waiting to send his babies until their parents were ready to release them for God’s eternal purpose; likewise Isaac, John the Baptist. Interestingly Jesus’ mother Mary was already ready to receive the baby and release the baby for God’s eternal purpose although she was very young.

Since I had TB in 2007, my body stamina has significantly dropped down. So biologically I was unable to produce healthy and enough sperms. I started breakfast and lunch fasting from 28 April. Amazingly, the conception took place around that time when my physical condition was worse than normal.

Some people said the baby must be daughter or twins or even triplets because Bridget had much worse morning sickness than with Noah. I have become a house-husband for a while. We had the first scan and couldn’t find more than one. The baby is due 24th January 2012. Please continue to pray for her and the baby. Our God is so amazing and faithful with his promise.

2. Esther Project: A child can change the world
Through the suffering from not having a baby, my wife started a prayer and fasting project, which is called Esther Project. This is not only for a family’s deliverance but also nation-wide deliverance. Two of them are pregnant since they started praying. Please pray for them continually.

3. St. Elli is Purchased: Faith requires Cost
Last December, a couple of my colleagues received God’s word that he wanted to prepare more rooms for mission training. St. Elli, a 20 bedroom former nursing home turned up. We had an amazing journey of faith with it. Many of us brought out our own two fish and five loves of bread. Thirty of us took three days cooperative fasting and prayer as well. In fact, through this fasting God made us one in his purpose.

We used this building wonderfully as accommodation during the Celebration 2011. Now we need to put a couple of showers and to create a flat. When it is finished, we are planning to move into it. Thank you for your prayers and gifts; especially my mum. St. Elli is going to be used as mission training accommodation. Nations International Centre has been used as an office and short-term accommodation for years but now it needs to be redeveloped as an international mission training centre and further uses.

4. BCW (Bible College of Wales): We have to trust in God because it looks impossible
Since January 2009, our family have been standing on BCW ground every Sunday without knowing the purpose of God. But January 2010, God led me to Israel for 8 days and nearly every day people mentioned about Rees Howells. Then, God led me to Brussels to attend a prayer meeting and he told me to start this journey of purchasing BCW in order to redeem Rees Howells’ inheritance; Intercession, Mission and Worship as well. It was crazy for me but I have been obeying God. I had no idea at all when I started this journey but now I have got a little bit of understanding how to pursue in it. I believe that God wants us to build a Spiritual Forge for intercession, mission and worshipping in these last days. It costs to buy £6 milion excluding renovation and running cost. If you want to know more about it, please find attached files.

5. Celebration for the Nations: God has given the 5th of fruitfulness
The 5th year Celebration was held in Wales, London on 22nd – 31st July and 3 overseas outreach teams, 6 teams in the U.K.. were dispersed after London Celebration. It was an amazing time. His presence was so real in such freedom and joy. We felt that the living water is now more than seeping out. This year, we had a Latin American team and a Korean traditional worship team who brought tremendous variety and depth of worshipping God. We worshipped God in such humility, purity and unity. We could tell the year of fruitfulness. We have tasted the living water and the fruits although the fullness of God hasn’t been released. Next year the Celebration is going to be on 20th – 27th July in Wales, 28th – 29th July in London and 31st July – 6th August 2012.

6. People with Us
- Youngmi who is part of Nations team and lived with our family for 17 months, moved into St. Elli to set up spiritual and physical foundation. She is going to Egypt for two weeks with a Korean mission team; Frontline Nations to help her and them to find their next stages.

- Heysung (Ally)+ Kyungkeum (Christine) came to help Celebration 2011 administration but had no place to stay. So they stayed with us 5 months and 3 months. Heysung is going back to Korea and needs to know her next stage. Kyungkeum has gone back to the USA to finish her studies. Please pray for them.

- Senait is planning to move to Switzerland to be with her husband for a couple of years. Then she really wants to do mission work in somewhere in the world.

- Javad is Iranian. He is spiritually, mentally and physically ill. I have been standing with him for ten years. Sometimes I am discouraged because he seems to make no progress. Please pray for him.

- Brian is an old local friend. He is utterly alone and his sight is weak. Please pray for him.

- Tamaskan is Eritrean who has been in London for years. He carries a burning heart for mission. He would like to move to Wales in Autumn for mission training with Nations. Please pray for him.

7. Family
- Noah goes to a school nursery from 9 am to 3 pm. Sometimes he doesn’t want to go but generally he likes it with his simple pasta lunch. He is going to be a full-time student. His English is already far ahead of me and he understands my Korean almost everything but he responds in English. He learned a couple of Korean games and we play together in Korean.

- Bridget’s morning sickness is fading away. Hallelujah!

- I, Qday, went to Israel with Celebration outreach team after London Celebration for 10 days and just come back. It was extremely hot and no rain. Thank you for your prayers and gifts.

Love & Shalom
