Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will fish for people." So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.” (Luke 5:10-11) … "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." (Luke 18:22)


We human beings are wanting to move forwards and upwards, but we often find ourselves circling around. If something is everything to me, it is so hard to give it up. Therefore God turns everything into one thing for us to give it up easily. But Satan turns one thing into everything, so that we may not give it up, and we lose everything in the end.


Fish was everything to Simon but it became nothing
Fish was everything to Simon but it became nothing. He thought he knew everything about Galilee but he realised that he knew nothing, but Jesus, a carpenter, had knowledge beyond Simon's experiences. Now he found himself as a sinful man in the light of God. The reason why Jesus directed Peter to catch the huge amount of fish was to teach him how to give them up in order to follow him. But many of us are caught by the fish and persuading Jesus to work with us in the fishing business, instead of giving them up. Unless we find who we are in him, we cannot give them up and follow him. Some people identify themselves with their possessions or positions rather than truly who they are in Him. When we realise that Jesus is everything to us, then we can give up anything in order to follow him. (Luke 5:8-11)

Money was everything to a young man, so Jesus was nothing
There was a young man who had a great wealth and a good position in the government. Also he said he kept the Commandments of God, which means he was religiously faithful. But he was unsure of his eternal life or his relationship with God. After he told Jesus he kept the Commandments, Jesus said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." (Luke 18:22)

He, and others, thought he had everything and was a good believer but he lacked one thing. In fact, Jesus only mentioned to the young man the 5^th - 10^th Commandants, to do with people, but didn't mention the first four Commandments, to do with God, because Jesus knew he served money as his god. So Jesus mentioned what the young man had been keeping well in order to encourage him to listen. Then he challenged him to give away his Mammon god because no-one can serve both God and money. (Matthew 6:24) But the young man walked away from Jesus sadly. In fact, money was everything to him but God was nothing. When we are free from the power of money by faith, we can go wherever God wants us to go and we can do whatever he wants us to do.

Money was everything to Zacchaeus but it became nothing
Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector and a rich man but he was short and was treated as a sinner by his own people. He wanted to compensate for his inferiority with money but it didn't work. As he got more money, he was hated more and felt emptier. But when Jesus came to his heart and his house, Jesus filled him with his love and he became everything to Zacchaeus. Therefore he gave his possessions away gladly, even though Jesus didn't tell him to give it away. (Luke 19:1-9)


If Jesus is our everything, the other things are just nothing
The apostle Paul found himself in Christ, then he considered everything else a loss because Jesus was his everything, for whose sake he had lost all things.(Philippians 3:8) One day, when we DIE, our EVERYTHING will be NOTHING. But by faith some people have this death experience every day with Christ and follow him. If we follow him through the death experience, we are joining the MOVEMENT of God, which has been created by Jesus. But if we turn away from the death experience, one day only a MONUMENT of man will be set up on our grave. Without following Jesus, who created a heavenly movement on earth, we will end up building our monument with our possessions and positions. If we want to follow Jesus, we have to GIVE UP whatever he wants.

The Forge School of Faith God has called a number of us to redeem the inheritance of Rees Howells the intercessor. We started this journey nearly four years ago by faith in obedience. Although the properties of the former Bible College of Wales are not purchased yet, we are running our first a school from 1st to 15th December: 2 weeks of community life, prayer and learning in Wales. So far 15 people have applied although I have prayed for 12 people and the Forge team. Also a Korean young couple donated £1000 and a British lady donated £100 for this school. Also a Korean young lady sent £100 for 'The Forge', and we were given an unexpected offering £915 for 'The Forge' from Jan Willem's the Feast of Tabernacles conference. Unfinished Race with Rees Howells Rees Howells purchased a fourth property which is called Penllergaer for Jewish children. He planned to bring at least 1000 Jewish children from Europe to UK but he managed to bring only 12 children because of the Second World War. On Friday 21st September, a Korean lady and Mathew Toller, a Messianic Jewish Rabbi wanted to visit BCW sites. Three of us went and walked on Glenderwen, Derwen Fawr, Sketty Isaf and Penllergaer. As we got to Penllergaer waterfall, Mathew asked me about the Forge vision, which is raising up spiritual blacksmiths through setting up a centre for intercession, mission, worship and to raise up the next generation and to work for Jewish people at BCW sites. At that point Mathew told me that Jewish people need to come to 'The Forge' to be equipped as missionaries and should go out to the nations of the world again. I really felt and prayed that is what Rees Howells left and we need to pick up. The Jews who will come might not be from Israel but from the USA and Europe, etc. It is very interesting because we didn't plan to go there at all on that day and the Jewish connection reopened up in our prayers in that place where Rees Howells prayed and planned. When I was in Israel this time, God spoke to me again about Jewish missionary training in Wales. On 7th October, when I woke up at about 6 am, I felt God wanted me to come up to the Temple Mount. So at 7:15 am I set off the house. When I was in a queue and also on the Temple Mount, God spoke to me again about the Jewish missionary training. I came down to the Western Wall. As I touched the wall, he spoke to me again. So I told God, “I don't know what to do and how to do it although you are saying to me.” Then he told me, “I have called you because you don't know and you cannot do it with your own ability.” I wept!

BCW Sites Update Swansea Community Church, which has been using some of the buildings on the Bible College's Derwen Fawr site, has been given notice to leave. It means that the purchase of Derwen Fawr site, by Cornerstone Church from Singapore, looks like it may be completed soon. The housing development proposal with Swansea Council is still being processed too, according to my communication with an officer in the Planning Department in Swansea City Council this week on 27th October. Please pray that God's bigger picture will emerge so that we may stand together for the Kingdom of God. Please continue to stand with us to purchase the other site, Sketty Isaf and to redeem the inheritance of Rees Howells. As Rees Howells exercised his calling by faith, in the same way, we are to live by faith.

[ PRAYER & INTERCESSION ]

1. Israel is not everything: JESUS is
Some people talk about Israel and do things connected with Israel, as if Israel is everything. Israel is not everything: Jesus is. Although Israel is not everything, Israel is so important in God's eternal purpose because God shows himself and his purpose through Israel.

The church is not spiritual Israel
Israel is Israel as a nation. The church is the church, and the body and bride of Christ. The root of our Christian faith is from the Jews; the Bible, Jesus, Apostles, etc. Israel demonstrates God's faithfulness and that he is a covenant-keeping God throughout history and even today. Actually the majority of Jews today are secular not religious, but they, and the religious Jews, and the Islamic terrorists and all Muslims need to find Jesus as their Messiah. This is our prayer, and we rejoice that more Jews and more Arabs are worshipping Jesus now in Israel.

(Jesus said) “You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.” (John 4:22)

God shows his faithfulness through Israel
Since God called out Abraham and promised to give him the land, the history of the nation of Israel was begun. It means that Israel has existed for about 4000 years. Israel was invaded many times through history not only because of its geographical position but also for spiritual reasons. Israel did not exist as a country for nearly 2000 years, from the time when Jerusalem was destroyed by the future Roman Emperor Titus in AD 70. But miraculously she exists today instead of disappearing, although hundreds of kingdoms and countries have disappeared from the earth. It shows God's faithfulness; he is a covenant keeping God who keeps his promises (Genesis 17:21, 18:18.)

And God said to Jacob, "I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants. The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you." (Genesis 35:11-12)

2. Iran is surging with nuclear weapons
It will be much worse than we think in Israel, the Middle East and the rest of the world, if Iran has nuclear weapons. (http://youtu.be/CMJ4TYXDKLc)

3. America is not a Vulture but an Eagle
I had a prophetic picture regarding the USA when we had 'The Forge' meeting on 27^th October. I sensed that America is not a vulture but an eagle. In fact, America has been an eagle through the history of the world. Although America made mistakes, they helped out countries, fought for freedom, etc. In recent years, however, America's character has changed: she has let down her allies like Israel. I sensed that this is a vulture not an eagle.

As we have experienced, quite a number of politicians are deceptive, not because they are evil but because they promise a lot of impossible things in order to get their positions. But I sense that there is an evil intention in the way Barak Obama has been saying and doing things. I urge to pray that God may reveal these hidden evil things and open Americans' eyes to see the truth of God, so that they may choose, not an economically beneficial candidate or fancy and empty words but a God appointed person for such time as this. American presidential election is on 6th November.

Please remember that God used America in an amazing way to bless many nations physically and spiritually during the last century. I am sure that if America repents of her pride, God will use her as his vessel mightily. I would like to suggest that if anyone wants to stand with America for such time as this, why don't we fast for a day on Tuesday 6th November?


4. Venezuela might be threatening USA
Venezuela is a very important country and so rich in God's Kingdom but she has been blocked by the current government authority. The presidential election was on 7th October. The former president Hugo Chávezhas been re-elected. I sense that America might be threatened by Venezuela because of the relationship between it's leader and the leader of Iran..

5. South Korea : Mr Ahn has been stealing people's hearts
The presidential election is taking place on 19th December 2012 in South Korea. One of the candidates likely to be AHN Chul Soo. My intention is not to criticise a candidate but to encourage people to pray for the future of South Korea for the Kingdom of God. I sensed that Mr Ahn is like Absalom who was king David's son and stole peoples' heart to cause a revolt in David's kingdom(2 Samuel 15:5-6). He has been stealing people's hearts. If Koreans are deceived by him and elect him, he will take South Korea away from God's purpose. I sense that he is not the right one from God for the country at this time. I am sharing this not from any political agenda but spiritual revelation. Mr Ahn himself might be a good man but what I sense is that the spirit of deception is working behind.
