“I know where you live - where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city (Pergamum) - where Satan lives. (Revelation 2:13)

In 1864, a German engineer, Carl Humann, excavated the ancient city Pergamon. He found the Altar of Zeus. Stone by stone, the altar was excavated and taken to Berlin, where it was reassembled and placed in its own museum. The Pergamon Museum opened in 1930, with the altar as its centrepiece. Eventually Germany’s new chancellor, Adolf Hitler, had Albert Speer commissioned to design the parade grounds for the party rallies in Nüremberg and he got inspiration from the Pergamon altar. Back in history, in AD 92, the faithful martyr Antipas died a "wholly burnt sacrifice" on the altar of Zeus in Pergamum, the place the Book of Revelation calls "the Throne of Satan." Centuries later in Nüremberg, in the centre of a redesigned Pergamon Altar, the bronze bull was replaced by a podium. From there, Adolf Hitler announced his "Final Solution"* to the world... and this time, the burnt sacrifice was six million Jews.

Hitler called young Germans to invade Europe and to wipe out Jews. He made alliances with Italy and Japan. At that time, the vast majority of Christians and the established church, Catholic and Lutheran, was entirely supportive of the Third Reich. They even inscribed on a banner at one of their conferences in Berlin on 13th November in 1933, that the Gospel could be seen in the Third Reich(on the left picture). But there were a few who saw clearly what was really happening: Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his followers stood against Hitler and were executed.

What Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been saying and doing could be seen as a parallel to what Hitler did in the past. It looks as if history is repeating itself. He openly says that Israel should be blotted out from the map and he has been making a kind of alliance with China, Russia, Turkey, Syria, and Venezuela, etc. The Iranian government arrested a Christian pastor, Youcef Nadarkhani, and they have announced his execution. At the same time, many Iranians are coming to the Lord.

We should remember that the spirit of anti-Christ is behind all of this. When Moses was born, and when Jesus was born, and whenever God's mystery is released from above in history, the enemy knows and tries to destroy. We are living in the last days. Therefore it is not strange to see the spirit of anti-Christ working in public. We, however, have to remember that our Lord has already won the victory through the cross. If we overcome the fear of death by faith, love and hope from above the sun, we will see his reward for the overcomers.

2. Awareness of North Korea: Kim JungUn

“My father laid on you a heavy yoke; I will make it even heavier. My father scourged you with whips; I will scourge you with scorpions.” (1Kings 12:11)

During the time of fasting, from 19^th March, I was stirred up to pray for North Korea while I was praying for Israel and the Middle East. I felt that God was speaking to me about Kim Jungil's son, Kim JungUn, through Solomon's son Rehoboam. I don't know for sure but he might act harshly to try and prove himself, like Rehoboam did. It means that he might be harsh just towards his own people or to the rest of the world also. We need to pray that the mystery of God would come to North Korea rather than history of man repeating itself under the sun.

[ The FORGE update ]

1. FIVE Connections with Rees Howells and the ground

We had a Korean brother visiting from New York. When he visited the BCW ground on Sunday, he felt that there are 'five connections', which need to be reclaimed regarding Rees Howells inheritance. Two days later while we were doing three days fasting and prayer, we felt we had seen what these five connections were: Worship, Intercession, Mission, Next Generation, Jewish People.

2. Three days fasting and prayer for deliverance of the Jews and salvation of Muslims

Last September, we called for 21 days and 3 days fasting for the UN vote. Again last month I felt God wanted to call for 3 days fasting. About 15 people replied to join this fasting and prayer from USA, Japan, Korea, UK, etc. Thank you so much for your cooperation. Those who could, met each evening and shared and prayed together. This is a very brief summary;

Terry C. brought Isaiah 60 while we were worshipping the Lord and he read out:
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” (60:1-3)

Steve M. shared a revelation that God is about to shake the Nation of Iran and other Nations and groups connected to it. This may be both a physical and a spiritual shaking. This was given before the fasting was arranged and confirmed what someone else had felt.

Gail D. read out Luke 22:31-32 and prayed with it.
“Israel, Israel (Simon) indeed satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I (Jesus) have prayed for you (Israel), that your FAITH should not fail, and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren (Jews and gentiles).”

Then she started singing this song and we all joined. It was very powerful.
“Save, Save, Save the people of Israel, Oh Lord
For You, You, You are a God of mercy,
Send, Send, Send the power of your Spirit, Lord
For You, O God, are a consuming fire.”

Then other words were added ......
“Shake, shake, shake, the spirit of Islam ....”

We prayed for messianic believers in Israel and throughout the world. We prayed for the children and young people who are and have been affected by the war. Also for Arabs and Jews to have a revelation of Messiah, and be saved. Then for the government and leaders both in UK and Israel, that they would not be wrongly influenced.

Also we prayed with the blood of Jesus because Steve M. saw a picture of blood while we were praying.
Psalm 91 was read out and particularly verses 14-16 prayed for believers in the Middle East who are suffering for their beliefs. We prayed for a breaking of all un-Godly alliances and about violence and bloodshed. We prayed and declared that the blood shed in LOVE by Jesus on the cross, would be and is, more powerful than the blood shed in violence and hatred. During this time we prayed for Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia. We sang ‘There is power in the blood of Jesus’ It was very powerful.
